Sampling and Analysis Packages for Soil, Indoor Air, Mold, Drinking Water, and Asbestos

Mold PACKAGE

(AIR + DIRECT SURFACE)

This package is a complete service that identifies the molds (genus and species), yeasts and bacteria of a contaminated surface or space.

  • Up to 1.5 hours of inspection of the building by a technician
  •  -The sampling of two samples on the site according to the regulations (1 indoor air sample + 1 outside control sample)
  •  Analysis of samples in the laboratory
  •  The analysis report.

VERMICULITE PACKAGE

This package meets the growing demand of our customers who want to sell or buy real estate. The inspection allows to check for the presence or absence of asbestos in the so-called “vermiculite or zonolite” material generally found in the attic.

  • Up to 1.5 hours of inspection by a technician
  •  Sampling and analysis of vermiculite material “zonolite” (up to 3 samples)
  •  Certificates of analysis
  •  The drafting of the detailed final report with the recommendations of our professionals on the measures to be taken to secure asbestos-containing materials
NB: In the case of the vermiculite package, the analysis of samples at the laboratory ceases at the 1st tested positive sample. If one sample is positive, it is sufficient to assume that the vermiculite is contaminated with asbestos.

FLOCKING AND THERMAL INSULATION PACKAGE

This package is a complete service that meets the CNESST’s regulatory requirements, specifically section 69.3 and 69.7 of the Regulation respecting occupational health and safety.

  •  Up to 2 hours of inspection of the building by a technician
  •  Sampling and analysis of materials that may contain asbestos (up to 5 samples)
  •  Certificates of analysis
  •  The drafting of the register on the preventive management of asbestos (GPA) in accordance with section 69.16 of the RSST
  •  The drafting of the detailed final report, with the recommendations of our professionals on the measures to be taken in order to secure the materials containing asbestos.

‘HUMIDITY INSPECTION’
PACKAGE

This package is a service that allows you to measure the humidity of your building materials (plaster , gypsum, concrete, wood, etc.), to determine the sources of moisture likely to promote the development of mold.

  • The technician Inspection
  •  Up to 1 hour inspection of the building by the technician
  •  Moisture measurements of your materials (walls, floors and ceilings)
  •  The report with photos (On request by the client).

For the packages

      •  The regular processing time (4-7 business days) for analysis results will be applied
      • An additional cost will be applied for a faster processing time
      • Samples and additional time required if necessary, will be billed as supplements.
