Groupe SolAirEau unveils an exclusive preview of its new innovative, self-programmed kit designed to test mould in indoor air, available to the general public as of December 14, 2020.
LAB’AIR is an automated, easy-to-use device that allows indoor air sampling in a building before laboratory analysis.
Montreal, December 7, 2020 – Groupe SolAirEau announces the launch of its new indoor air and mould sampling kit. LAB’AIR is equipped with a compact device that collects a specific volume of air for microbiological analysis in a laboratory.
“Following the COVID-19 crisis, our sense of social responsibility pushed us to accelerate the deployment of this project, which we have been working on for more than two years. This new reality of health insecurity once again proves that the future of our industry depends on innovation,” said Adnane Ramromi, Director of Health, Safety and Environment at Groupe SolAirEau.
TEST YOUR AIR – PROTECT YOUR HEALTH
An Innovative Project Serving Environmental Health
Traditional air sampling, as currently practiced by many companies, involves multiple constraints—both logistical and financial:
- Appointments scheduled according to company availability and delays
- Client presence required during the technician’s visit (time off work)
- Additional fees charged based on the distance to the building
To address these challenges, Groupe SolAirEau rethought its research and development strategy to offer a smarter, more appropriate solution to meet current population needs, particularly in the context of COVID-19.
This new turnkey sampling device meets the needs of citizens and property managers concerned about invisible air contamination. The LAB’AIR kit provides a fast, professional assessment of the microbiological air quality people breathe in their living or working environments.
Groupe SolAirEau’s objective is to simplify access to professional air quality testing by offering a smart, self-programmed, easy-to-use device that allows full autonomy from one’s home or office—without time constraints or scheduling issues. No technician visit is required.
Once sampling is completed, the air sample is analyzed in a laboratory and a detailed report is delivered to the client. The report outlines the microbiological components detected in the air along with recommendations based on contamination levels.
